Deputy Commissioner Kathua Ramesh Kumar today launched a Single Window Facility at DC office for ensuring prompt delivery of Revenue related services under the ambit of Public Service Guarantee Act (PSGA),Deputy Commissioner said that the aim of this single window facility is to ensure that the services are provided to the stakeholders at a single point in a transparent, accountable and time bound manner.He said directions gave been issued to all the tehsildar to start the facility of single window in their respective tehsils on same analogy to facilitate people which will save their valuable time and money. He stressed for strict implementation of Public Service Guarantee Act (PSGA), 2011.
DDC directed the District Informatics Officer to develop web application wherein the status of applications received under PSGA can be tracked. Besides, directions were also issued to the concerned officers of newly created tehsils to conduct Public Grievance Redressal camps every Tuesday and Friday.Later, Deputy Commissioner informed that district administration is also going to start whatsapp based grievance redressal system, wherein aggrieved can register their grievances. He said that fortnightly meetings will be held to review the status of grievances received through this whatsapp group and action taken thereof.Deputy Commissioner asked the officers to make complaints and grievances redressal system more effective and timebound.The function was attended by ADDC, DDEO, DIO Kathua, Tehsildar Kathua besides other revenue officers.
