Govt has no proposal for opening Physical Education College in Jammu: Molvi Imran Raza Ansari

Minister for Youth Services & Sports, Information Technology and Technical Education, Mr. Molvi Imran Raza Ansari today said that at present there is no proposal to establish Physical Education College in Jammu and the same would be considered if need arises. Replying to a main question by legislator Ch. Sukhnandan regarding opening of Physical Education College at Jammu, the Minister said that the Government currently has no such proposal for opening of Physical Education College in Jammu. “At present, there is no such proposal under consideration with the Department,” the Minister said  adding that if in future there is increased need of such Physical Education teachers, a Physical Education College would be considered for Jammu.He said that presently Government is working on upgrading the infrastructure of Physical Education College established at Ganderbal.
