Pattan Trauma hospital to be completed this year: Bali Bhagat

Minister for Health and Medical Education, Mr Bali Bhagat today informed the House that construction work on Pattan Trauma hospital would be completed this year.

While responding to the main question by,  Mr Abid Hussain Ansari, the Minister expressed the government concern over the slow pace of work on the hospital, which he said was under construction  many years. He assured the House that the construction work of the hospital would be completed within this fiscal.The Minister said that the construction of the Pattan Trauma Hospital was taken up during  2007 through PW(R&B) Department at an estimated cost of Rs 7.17 crores, against which Rs 6.21 crores stand released upto last fiscal. He said that during the current financial year Rs 2 crore have been projected under National Health Mission for the project. He said that the project is likely to be completed during the current financial year subject to the availability of funds.Giving details about the current physical status of the vital hospital, the Minister said that the main hospital structure stands completed while as the finishing and other development works are in progress.
