The historic annual Aghar Jitto mela concluded on Tuesday at Katra.  The District administration had made elaborate arrangements with regard to security, provision of drinking water, uninterrupted power supply and other services for the successful conduction of the mela.Numerous stalls were set up by different departments for generating awareness among masses regarding various schemes and programmes run by the Central as well as the State Government for their welfare.Various cultural programmes were also organized for entertaining people. In addition to this, various stalls dealing with sweets, toys and other commodities were also installed to attract people.A Dangal was organized on the concluding day of the mela in which wrestlers from different parts of the country participated and was attended and enjoyed by large number of people.Deputy Commissioner, Reasi felicitated the winners with cash prizes.Among others ACD Suram Chand Sharma officers of different departments and prominent citizens were present.
