Speaker, Mr Kavinder Gupta today directed the Government to take immediate steps for ensuring adequate irrigation facilities to the farmers of Tral area.The Speaker was responding after MLA Tral, Mr Mushtaq Ahmad Shah informed the House that there is lack of irrigation facilities in Tral constituency due to which the farmers face tremendous difficulties in irrigating their farms when the Kharif season is at its peak.Meanwhile the Speaker also directed the Government to provide ex-gratia to the next of kin of the deceased who were killed in Batote-Kishtwar road accident yesterday. He was responding to the concern raised by MLA Doda, Mr Shakti Raj Parihar that ex-gratia be provided to the next of kin who died in a road accident on Batote-Kishtwar highway the other day.
