In a veiled attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Tuesday said those who believed in divisive politics can never be yogis. In a string of tweets, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader said that while yoga's global recognition was a matter of pride, yoga was not about gathering on a road or park and "doing PT exercises"."Yoga is about uniting, not breaking. Those who try to split Hindus and Muslims and various castes cannot be yogis," he said.Sisodia said while the world appreciated India's achievements in yoga, it made fun of those pursuing divisive politics in the country."We will have the right to feel proud of yoga when we start uniting the country, not breaking it."Today, the country is being split over religion and caste."In an obvious reference to Uttarakhand, Sisodia questioned the relevance of doing yoga when one toppled elected governments in states."It is good to do and talk about yoga. But there cannot be yoga on one side and divisive politics on the other. Give up this duplicity. Such yoga will be viewed as a show."
