The District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal today convened a meeting of district officers and engineers of various departments, to review the progress of developmental works under execution in district Ganderbal through various agencies under State sector, District sector, Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSS) and flagship programmes.In the meeting the DDC enquired about all the issues related to the different developmental projects going on in District Ganderbal. The concerned officers were directed to clear all the issues as soon as possible for the betterment of the District.On the occasion, the DDC was apprised that work on major developmental projects including District Hospital Ganderbal, Government Physical Education College Gadura, Govt. Polytechnic College Hatbura, Govt. Degree College Kangan, etc. is going on at fast track basis and these projects would be completed very soon. Moreover the DDC was informed that the District Hospital Ganderbal is targeted to be completed on March 2017.The DDC stressed upon the engineers of different departments to make coordinated efforts so that the decisions already taken regarding different projects will be implemented on ground at an earliest.On the offset, the DDC stressed upon the officers to take the developmental matters seriously which are directly related with the general public like Schools, PHC’s, Roads etc. so that general masses should not face any inconvenience.Among others Chief Planning Officer and all the District Officers were present in the meeting.
