Minister of Education Mr Naeem Akhtar expressed his profound condolence on the demise of former Chief Photo Officer Information Department Makhan Lal Zewan.The Minister visited the house of the deceased in Zewan to offer his condolence to the bereaved family.  Praising the late Makhan Lal, the Minister said that the deceased was not only an ace photographer but a good human being too.“Makhan Lal’s is one of those Pandit families who never migrated from Kashmir Valley. Not only his family but his entire clan remained part of the composite culture of Kashmir throughout its thick and thin,” said Mr Naeem. He interacted with the brothers and other relatives of Makhan Lal at Zewan. Makhan Lal worked as a photographer for many years and retired as the Chief Photo Officer in the Department of Information.The Minister also conveyed the condolence from Chief Minister Ms Mehbooba Mufti to the bereaved family. The Chief Minister in her message prayed for the departed soul expressed her sympathies with the family.
