Chief Secretary, B R Sharma Friday reviewed the progress of implementation of the National Food Security Act (NFSA) via video conferencing with Deputy Commissioners ( DCs).Chief Secretary received brief from DCs about the accuracy of the beneficiary data in terms of Priority Households (PHH), Non Priority Households ( NPHH) and exclusions. DCs informed that accuracy checks are being done to remove errors and duplications and beneficiary data is being updated to take it close to being almost 100% accurate."All DCs are required to take necessary corrective measures to further improve the implementation process of the NFSA in their respective districts and meanwhile also submit fidelity certificates reporting the percentage accuracy reached in the district" Chief Secretary said.
