Minister for Revenue, Relief & Rehabilitation, Syed Basharat Bukhari today, replying on behalf of Education Minister to a question of Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo, informed the House that no up-gradation of High Schools is proposed during the current financial year, adding that there is no proposal to make any High School as Model High School in the state.The Minister informed that under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan(SSA) an amount of Rs 182487.41 lakh were incurred in the year 2015-16, an amount of Rs 36123 lakh and Rs 9719.89 lakh were spent under Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhijan and under Mid day Meal respectively during the same period.Saif-ud-Din Bhat raised supplementary to the main question.
