ADDC Kathua, Manmohan Singh today chaired a meeting of senior officers to review the arrangements for ensuing “International Day of Yoga” being observed onJune 21 at Sports Stadium Kathua.During the meeting, the ADDC entrusted Department of AYUSH to provide yoga instructors, Health Department for participation of trainees and staff along with deployment of Ambulance, Youth Sports Services for marking of the venue ground, Education Department to ensure participation of students from educational institutions.The PHE department was directed to look after the water arrangements and ICDS to ensure public mobilization whereas cleanliness and wide publicity of the event are to be ensured by Municipal Council and Information department respectively.Members of Art of Living, Patanjali and other Yoga enthusiasts have been mobilized to help in wide publicity and providing other logistic support for the success of the event.During the meeting, the ADDC called for Inter-departmental coordination involving all the stakeholders from the society for the successful outcome of the event. District Youth Coordinator NYK Kathua, CEO Kathua, Medical Officers, Officers of PHE, Police Training School and Municipality, DYSSO Kathua , representatives of Government and Private colleges, Patanjali, Art of living were also present on the occasion.
