A deputation from Kargil led by Chief Executive Councilor (CEC), Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council Kargil (LAHDC-K) today called on the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh here and appreciated the initiative undertaken for bringing the district under the ambit of Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT). Interacting with the deputation, Dr Singh said it is the endeavor of the government to undertake holistic and sustained development of the state and in this regard various central and state schemes have been introduced in the sectors of Housing and Urban Development. He said that under AMRUT previously three cities Srinagar, Jammu, and Anantnag were taken up, and now Kargil city has also been covered under its ambit.
