Minister for Consumer Affairs, & Public Distribution (CA&PD) Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali today reviewed the arrangements made for the holy month of Ramadhan.
During the meeting, the Minister directed the concerned officers to ensure timely supply of food grains to people and maintain a sufficient stock of gas cylinders, kerosene oil so that people do not face any problems during the holy month.He also asked for the mobilizing market checking squads to prevent hoarding and profiteering, and to avoid any kind of artificial shortage of the essential commodities. Besides, he directed the officers to keep strict vigil on the market and book those found violating rules.The meeting was attended by Secretary CA&PD Shafiq Raina, Director CA&PD, Kashmir Peerzada Mustaq Shah, Special Secretary Mohammad Akbar Ganie, and other senior officers.
