34 members raised issues of public importance during Zero Hour in the House today.Mr. Dina Nath Baghat demanded that the government should take up the matter with regard to the reservation in promotion of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe with the High Court.Mr. Mohammad Khalil Bandh demanded proper implementation of  Pulwama District Development Board decision for the creation of PHE Division at District Headquarters Pulwama.Mr.  Ravinder Raina raised the issue of water scarcity in Nowshera constituency.Mr. Mubarak Gul demanded proper dumping of solid waste in Achen. He also called for proper implementation of solid waste management program in Srinagar City. Mr. Asgar Ali Karbalai demanded equal attention and proper allotment of funds under state sector for the Ladakh region.Mr. Jewan Lal demanded ration for nomads of Bani in Kathua district.Sheikh Ishfaq Jabar demanded removal of bottle necks which become hindrance for the execution of upgradation of Ganderbal road  as Amarnath Yatra  is scheduled in next month. He demanded immediate action for the matter.

Hakim Mohammad Yasin raised the issue of lack of teaching staff in Middle and High Schools in his constituency and demanded immediate posting of staff for the same.Mr. Rajesh Gupta raised the issue of PHE Daily wagers  who are on strike for the last 80 days and said people are suffering due to water shortage. He informed that these Daily wagers have not been paid for the last four months. He demanded early release of honorarium in their favour.Mr. Yawar Ahmad Mir demanded early execution of Check-Gujri Irrigation scheme.Mr. Pawan Kumar Gupta demanded comprehensive policy for solid waste management in Udhampur City.Mr. Bashir Ahmad Dar raised the issue of providing relief  to the families of two girls who were drowned in 2014 floods. He further demanded enquiry against officials who allegedly delayed processing the sanctioning of relief in their favour.Mr. Davinder Singh Rana called for immediate repairs and renovation of HT/LT lines which were damaged due to recent hail storm in Nagrota constituency.Mr. M Y Taragami and Mr. Mohammad Altaf Wani demanded proper implementation of   decisions taken in District Development Board meetings .

Mr. Abdul Majid Padder said 5 villages in his Constituency are still without electricity and demanded immediate power supply for these villages.Choudhary Mohammad Akram raised the issue of canals in Surankote which were damaged due to floods and demanded immediate repairs and renovations of these canals.Mr. Ranbir Singh Pathania  demanded comprehensive policy for contractuals, Adhocs   and Daily wagers .Raja Manzoor Ahmad called for comprehensive policy for posting of Doctors  in health institutions located near borders.Mr. Usman Majeed raised the issue of compensating people who have been affected due to construction of Kishan Ganga Power Project by NHPC and also demanded for proper utilization of RR Plan.Mr. Mohammad Yousuf Bhat demanded early completion of ongoing construction of district hospital Shopian.Mr. Shakti Raj Parihar demanded establishment of Doda Tourist Development Authority.

Mr. G M Saroori demanded shifting of Chattru examination centre in Kishtwar so as to avoid mass copying.Mr. Aijaz Ahmad Mir demanded release of compensation among flood victims of district Shopian.Er. Abdul Rasheed and Mr. Abdul Majid Bhat demanded upgradation of water supply schemes in their constituencies.Mr. Vikar Rasool Wani raised the issue of release of 2% share from Railway Authorities and demanded its utilization on local development.Dr. Krishen Lal demanded improvement in Health and PHE sectors in his constituency.Mr. Javid Rana demanded implementation of cabinet decisions regarding up gradation of Middle and High schools especially for back ward classes.Mr. Abdul Rahim Rather demanded immediate repairs and renovation of irrigation canals of his constituency.Mr. Neelam Kumar Langeh demanded share for Batote from Special Package for flood victims.Mr. Mohammad Ashraf Mir demanded proper implementation of irrigation schemes in his constituency.Mr. Mohammad Amin Bhat demanded early redressal  of water scarcity in Qazigund area.
