The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat, today inaugurated two ATM machines of J&K bank at Ziyarat Sharief Syed Simnania and DC office Complex today.Highlighting the importance of banking services, the DDC said financial institutions play a vital role in socio-economic transformation of the people particularly in rural areas. He advised the bank authorities for providing hassle-free loans to unemployed educated youth for setting up own income generating units under various self-employment schemes launched in the State.The DDC also asked the unemployed youth to come forward and avail the benefits of various state and centrally sponsored wefare schemes launched for their welfare.
Speaking on the occasion, Cluster Head J&K Bank Kulgam said that the opening of the ATM service was a long felt need of the locals of the area.
