PTU organized a Joint Campus Placement Drive at  GJIMT, Phase 2 Mohali . More than one thousand candidates from various educational backgrounds like, B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA, BBA and  MBA attended the job fair. As many as 15 companies participated in the placement drive  for 496 different posts . Where as many as 178 students got shortlisted by the companies with the starting packages from 1.2 lacs to 4 lacs per annum, Rest result will be declared by companies later .The event was inaugurated by Er. Navdeepak Sandhu, Deputy Director PTU .  While Assistant Director IKG PTU, Hirdesh Madan was special guest at this occasion.Er. Navdeepak Sandhu, Dy Director, Corporate Relations & Alumni, PTU said that we are trying to provide the Job Opportunities and a platform to the students who want to make their career. According to him with huge hiring requirements, the placement drive would facilitate recruitment and enable jobseekers to fulfill their aspirations and meet the need of today’s Industry.

J.S.Bedi Chairman of the GJIMT said that Punjab has been the hub of education for so long and now it is emerging as a lucrative job market. With huge hiring requirements, the event helped in facilitating recruitment and enabling jobseekers to fulfill their aspirations and meet the need of today’s Industry.Director of the Institute Aneet Bedi said that it is a great endeavor to bridge in the gap between demand of companies and students expectations. Such placement drives are unique platform for students to show their versatile talent and achieve their desired goal to get selected in company of their choice.
