Exuding confidence that the state is all set to witness a faster socio-economic transformation under the dynamic leadership of chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, the General Secretary PDP youth wing and MLA, Rafiabad, Yawar Dilawar Mir has said that the vigour with which Mehbooba is personally monitoring implementation of various flagship projects and welfare programmes, in each sector, would soon fructify the mission of the visionary leader late Mufti Muhammad Sayeed about a prosperous and self sufficient J&K.Addressing a public gathering at Dak Bunglow Baramulla today, Yawar Dilawar sought cooperation of the people especially youth to strengthen the hands of Mehbooba Mufti to fructify the mission of Mufti sb about a developed model J&K state. He said the centre has assured full financial and logistic support to the PDP-BJP coalition government to bring the state out of morass adding that after the ensuing Budget Session of the state legislature, the flow of funds for infrastructural development will get a big boost. 

"Mehbooba is personally monitoring pace of progress on various projects and flagship programmes and wants their time bound completion to ensure benefits accrue to the people at ground level," Yawar said adding that she has repeatedly warned concerned executing agencies of stern action against unnecessary delays in commissioning of projects and cost escalations due to avoidable delays.He asked the workers to act as watch dogs in their respective areas to ensure judicial use of funds and quality of construction material in different works. He asked them to bring into the notice of higher authorities both at administrative as well as political levels any lapse on the side of executing agencies in the construction of works or implementation of various welfare programmed meant for poor sections of the society so that prompt action could be taken on the basis of their feed back to set the things right. "This will be their best contribution towards the society as public especially workers are eyes and ears of the government," Yawar maintained.

Referring to the development plan for Rafiabad Constituency, Yawar said that each and every sector will receive adequate funds to provide all the basic facilities, at par with the urbanites especially in respect to drinking water, power supply, education, healthcare and road connectivity, to the people at their door steps. He said about 6 new health sub centres are being opened in Rafiabad in Nagnadi, Kutu Naribal, Braman, Watergam, Khahipora, Tangwari whereas some existing sub–cenetrs will be upgraded to new type Primary Health centres under National Health Mission. He said government has sanctioned 87 posts of ISM Medical officers, 371 posts of Allopathic Medical officers and 1284 casual workers to work as nursing orderlies to meet the shortage of medical and Para-medical staff in the health centres.
