The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon, today convened an officers meeting to take stock of ongoing developmental projects being carried out in Srinagar city.District Development Commissioner Srinagar, Vice Chairman LAWDA, Chief Town Planner, Joint Commissioner SMC, Executive Engineer SMC and officers of various concerned departments were also present in the meeting.The Divisional Commissioner while stressing upon the timely completion of ongoing projects directed the concerned officers and executing agencies to expedite the pace of work on these projects.
Meanwhile, deputations from various areas including Sonwar and Hazratbal constituencies met the Divisional Commissioner and apprised him about problems being faced by them.Dr. Samoon gave patient hearing to the demands and problems confronted by the people of these areas and assured them that their grievances would be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal.President Coordination Committee Shalimar was also present in the meeting.
