Chief Secretary, B R Sharma Wednesday reviewed the progress on some major flagship projects under implementation in the State, in a meeting, he chaired here.During the meeting, Chief Secretary reviewed various elements of the project for Dal Lake Conservation and resettlement of Dal Dwellers with directions to the H&UD Secretary to expeditely move forward on the project.Chief Secretary also reviewed the progress of projects related to Waste Managment in Cities and Towns, Traffic Management in Srinagar City, establishment of five Medical Colleges and AIIMS, High Density Plantations and implementation of the National Food Security Act.On the occasion, Chief Secretary gave explicit directions to the concerned administrative Secretary with regard to project implementation arrangements and schedule, funding and timelines, so that all projects under implementation in the State are completed in time in a hassle free manner and benefit the people as envisaged.Financial Commissioner, Planning & Development, B B Vyas, Director General of Police, K Rajendra, Commissioner Secretary, H& UD, Hirdesh Kumar, Secretary H&ME, Mandeep K Bhandari, Secretary, Horticulture, M H Malik, IGP, Traffic J&K, Viplav Kumar were present in the meeting.
