A two-day state-level Cultural and Prize Distribution Function was organised by the Technical Education and Industrial Training Department Punjab at Guru Nanak Bhawan, here today. On the first day, participants from eight different zones namely Jalandhar, Amritsar, Fatehgarh Sahib, Patiala, Ludhiana, Faridkot, Budhladha and Batala took part. Mr Dharampal Gupta, Director, Technical Education and Industrial Training Department, Punjab, was the chief guest on the occasion.During the two-day event, competitions of shabad gayan, solo song, group song, solo dance, group dance, mono acting, skit, choreography, gidha and bhangra would be held.On this occasion, Mr RP Singh, General Secretary, PITSA, Mr Baljinder Singh, Principal, Industrial Training Institute Ludhiana, Mr Raj Kumar, Principal, Industrial Training Institute Hoshiarpur, Mr Paramjit Singh, Principal, Industrial Training Institute Batala, Mr Jatinder Singh, Principal, Industrial Training Institute Ranike, Mr Jaswant Singh, Principal, Industrial Training Institute Lalru, Mr Gopal Krishan, Principal, Industrial Training Institute (Women) Ludhiana, and from IMC, ITI Mr Charanjit Singh Vishwakarma, chairman, IMC, Mr Inderjit Nagpal, Member, IMC, Mr Surinder Singh Bhogal, Member, IMC, Mr Vijay Kumar Dhall, Member, IMC, Mr SC Mittal, Member, IMC, were also present on the occasion.On this occasion, Mr Baljinder Singh, Principal, ITI Ludhiana, welcomed the chief guest.While addressing the participants, Mr Dharampal Gupta, said that more such events would be organised for the students in the coming days as they help in boosting their morale. He also appreciated the efforts of all participants as well as the organisers.On the second day of this event, Cabinet Minister Mr Madan Mohan Mittal would be the chief guest.
