In the ongoing (Late G.M. Gilkar) memorial Mega T20 Cricket tournament at Hr. Sec. School Ground on 11-05-2016 (Wednesday), two matches were played,1stmatchwas played between Kashmir Sports Bijbehara & S.M.C.C. Bewoora Batting 1st Kashmir Sports set a huge target of 187 in their allotted quoted of 20 overs (Mudasir with 51 of 27 balls & Danish with 45 from 35 balls & Zahid took two wickets while Mudasir took 1 wicket were among the main contributors for Kashmir Sports Bijbehara & in reply S.M.C.C. Bewoora was bundled out for mere 97 runs (Sajad with 31 of 27 balls was the only contributor for S.M.C.C. (Mudasir of Kashmir Sports was declared man of the match for his alround performance).
2nd Match of the tournament was played between Ball Burners Tral & Ganie Sports Mattan. Batting 1stBall Burners Tral made 107 runs in allotted 20 overs (Shahid with 23 of 28 balls was the main contributor with bat while ubaid & Adnan took 01 wicket each). In reply Ganie Sports Mattan Bijbehara started the chase with blasting strokes all over the ground & won the match inside 12 overs (Towseefmade 38 of just 24 balls& took 02 wkts&Aquib with 28 runs of 15 balls(Gh.
