Charan Singh from Chamyawal village of Arki tehsil in Solan district called on the Governor Acharya Devvrat at Raj Bhawan today and urged him to extend support in bringing his son Shri Jitender Singh back to India, who was seriously injured in a road accident in Saudi Arabia. He requested the Governor to take up the matter with Government of India.He apprised the Governor that Shri Jitender Singh had been deployed in Saudi Arabia through Indian Company and sustained serious injuries in a road accident on 25th October, 2015 due to which his lower part of the body become paralytic. He said that he had been under treatment in the hospital from last six months but now the hospital authorities had told him to discharge immediately.
He added that being a poor man and having no passport and visa, he was not in a position to attend his son in Saudi Arabia and added that the passport and visa of Shri Jitender have also been kept by the company with them.He urged the Governor to take up the matter with GoI for providing required treatment and making arrangements for safe shifting of his son from Saudi Arabia to India besides settling the matter of service dues and claims with the concerned company.The Governor expressed concern over the matter and assured Shri Charan Singh that he would take up the matter at appropriate level.Pradhan, Gram Panchayat Chamyawal Shri Parminder Thakur was also present on the occasion.
