The Minister of State for Housing & Urban Development Social Welfare, Health & Medical Education, Asiea Naqash, today visited Jenab Sahab Shrine at Soura in Hazratbal Constituency and proposed the construction of shelter home for devotees (Baitul Zaireen) there.She also reviewed the arrangements for upcoming Friday following Meraj-ul-Aalam celebrations.Secretary Tourism and Floriculture Farooq Ahmad Shah, Director Tourism Mehmood Ahmad Shah and other concerned officials were accompanying the Minister.She directed the officials to ensure facilities like adequate water supply, uninterrupted power supply, cleanliness in and around the shrine complex, proper sanitation, availability of medicare facilities during the festival days. She asked the tourism officials to finalize proposal for shelter home at the shrine for the convenience of the devotees and also directed for proper fencing of the shrine compound.On the occasion, the Minister interacted with locals and listened to their grievances. She assured locals that their pending demand of sports stadium will be fulfilled at an earliest, besides upliftment of nearby water spring.
