Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Liberation Party (JKDLP), Hashim Qureshi Friday suggested that the people should hold charges to look after the shrines. In a statement issued to KNS, Qureshi said that instead of Waqf board, the people should personally hold the charges to look after the shrines in their respective areas.Qureshi said that if the people will hold charges to look after the shrines, the earnings will be provided to the needy people. He said that despite using the earnings of Waqf to salaries of workers and for political activities, it has came to fore that the earnings is also being given as a credit to the rich people who even don’t return.
