Pradesh Congress held a meeting of Legislators, Senior Party functionaries, Executive Members, District Presidents and others to deliberate and discuss the Socio Political developments obtaining due to wrong policies of PDP BJP Coalition in the State, in Srinagar today. The meeting was presided over by JKPCC Chief G.A. Mir.The meeting, threadbare, discussed the developments arising due to the misrule and wrong policies of the State Govt and expressed concern over the callous attitude of the Govt towards the basic issues concerning people in all the three regions. Tall claims by PDP in Valley and BJP in Jammu with regard to resolution of the people’s problems have fallen flat, Party said.Addressing the meeting JKPCC Chief G.A. Mir accused the PDP BJP Coalition Govt for failing to address the issues confronting people in all the three regions of the State, he blamed both PDP and BJP for exploiting people by playing with their emotions on good governance drama being staged by them (PDP BJP), but the fact remains, both the Parties have lost the ground miserably, he said .PCC Chief said that it is the Congress party alone which has remained dedicated to the cause of strengthening and serving people and has never changed colours for anything. He said Congress Party stands guarantee to the equitable development of all the three regions and the people, it (Congress) will continue to serve the people to the best of its ability, he said
Describing the PDP BJP as two sides of the same coin, PCC Chief castigated PDP for taking directive from the RSS and helping them (BJP & RSS) to implement their communal agenda in the State by dividing people on regional and religious lines, he PCC Chief felt confident that people of the State would defeat the designs of PDP BJP and their mentor RSS.PCC Chief further said that Congress being an instrument of service has served the Nation and the State best and it would continue to remain steadfast in serving them (people) to the best of its ability, he added.Those who addressed the meeting included MLC Gulam Nabi Monga, MLA Haji Abdul Rashid Dar, Mohd Anwar Bhat, Amreen Badre Vice Presidents MLA Gulzar Ahmad Wani, Senior Leader Khemlata Wakhloo Bashir Ahmad Magray, Farooq Andrabi, Gulam Nabi Mir Lasjan, Mohd Aslam laigoro, Haroon Rashid, Shameema Iqbal, Irfan Naqib, Abid Kashmiri, Imtiyaz Khan, Sahil Farooq, Yaqoob Vakil, Naseer Mir, Dr. Syed.
