In the ongoing (Late G.M. Gilkar) memorial Mega T20 Cricket tournament at Hr. Sec. School Ground on 01-05-2016 (Sunday), two matches were played, 1st match was played between FCC Bijbehara versus Sajad Sports Bijbehara.Batting 1stFCC Bijbehara made 179 runs for loss of 3 wickets in their allotted quota of 20 overs (Captain Ajaz Gatoo made quick fire 68 runs of Just 41 balls and Showket Wagay made un beaten 40 runs of 22 deliveries while Zubair Teeli conceded 15/2 in his four over spell) and in reply Sajad Sports Bijbehara’s chase was equally good, but fall short of just 5 runs in a nail biter game made 174 runs for loss of 2 wickets, Muzaffer* made 79 of just 52 deliveries and Abdul Rashid chip with 42 ball 58 runs, though being a losing side Muzaffer was declared man of the man for his good performance.
In the 2nd match of day which was played between Kanwal Sports versus Pantha Chowk Eleven.Batting 1st Kanwal eleven set a huge target of 229 for loss of 7 wickets in their allotted quota (Shahid with 77 runs from 42 balls and Mudasir 67 from 32 were among the main run getters.In reply Pantha Chowk Elevan was bundled out for 181.
