In order to early revision of NFSA rationees list fully correct and to ensure the immediate repair of damaged stretch of Jammu Srinagar NHW1 from in distt Ramban a well attended deputation of general public of Ramban and different area of Banihal meet recently joined deputy commissioner Ramban Mohammed Aijaz Assad at DC office Ramban here today. 

The MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool led a delegation to District Development Commissioner Mohammad Aijaz to discuss issues faced by local residents of Banihal, Pogal Paristan, Neel, Sumber, Khari, Ramsu, Ukerhaal and other parts of District Ramban and Banihal.The delegation comprised of Sarpanches and Panches of 65 Panchyats along with representatives of local organisations.In the meeting, MLA highlighted various issues of his constituency before DDC. Those major issues included the genuine inclusion of people in priority and non-priority sectors under NFSA with rationalization, more inclusion of beneficiaries in priority sector from villages and proper verification of lists of beneficiaries.

He also stressed on the maintenance of potholes and broken road surface of NH44 from Ramban to Banihal, road along tunnel construction sites and rural link roads. He also raised the issues of water and power supply, road compensation, shortage of staff in schools and medical centres.MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani urged upon the deputy commissioner Ramban Mohammed Aijaz Assad to constitute a special team of distt officers and local Panchayat representatives including Sarpanches, Punches and CAPD dealers for revision of NFSA rationees uploaded lists so that the shortcomings and other related errors regarding BPL,PHH and NPHH households can be verified at ground level before its final conclusion and the way out can be find so enlist the deserving consumers and left out rationees.He added that the objectives of this act is not applicable to the deserving consumers so far as the previous uploaded list is concerned.Besides others senior congress Leader and secretary PCC Imtiyaz Ahmed Khanday, distt president congress adv Arun singh Raju, working president Farooq Katoch, youth congress leader Alyas Banihali and various Sarpanches and prominent citizens also spoke on the occasion.Giving patient hearing to the deputation, the DDC redressed a few issues on spot by speaking to concerned officers and directed them to resolve the public issues immediately.
