Though the authorities claim to have macadamized the roads in Valley despite the harsh winter months by importing a specific chemical from outside, the dilapidated road leading from Batamaloo to Bypass is puncturing the government claims. The transporters, residents as well as the pedestrians here have appealed the administration to redress their genuine demands at an earliest.Locals told KNS that road leading to bypass was macadamized several times in the past but it developed potholes within no time, thereby leaving the residents in lurch at large. They said that the authorities here have failed to look into the hardships being faced by the people of the area. “We are facing immense hardships due to the ramshackle road.

The authorities so far have failed to pay any heed to our sufferings. They should look into the matter soon,” locals said. They said that whenever the authorities macadamize the road, it develop potholes within no time, which indicates that the officials always failed to check the quality of the material used during the road repair. “We approached concerned officials several time in this regard and requested them to ensure the utilization of quality material by the contractor in road repairing,” they said.Locals said that due to pathetic condition of the road, students, employees and also patients face tremendous hardships to reach their respective destinations.
