The Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission has taken a suo-moto notice of no action being taken since 26 days in a case pertaining to the molestation of a scheduled caste girl belonging to Kandukhera Village, District Sri Mukatsar Sahib. The Commission has directed the SSP Sri Muktsar Sahib to submit a report within 15 days.The Punjab State Scheduled Castes Commission Chairman, Mr. Rajesh Bagha disclosed that the commission would make every effort to take the case to its logical end.
