To implement the District Annual Plans, Government as an interim arrangement and in larger public interest today nominated the Chairmen of the District Development Boards with immediate effect. Order to this effect was issued by the Planning and development department.As per the order issued, Chief Minister, Ms Mehbooba Mufti shall be Chairman of Srinagar District Development Board, Deputy Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh shall be Chairman of Jammu and Samba District Development Boards, Minister for Public Works and Parliamentary Affairs, Abdul Rehman Veeri shall be Chairman of Pulwama and Shopian District Development Boards, Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash shall be Chairman of Budgam District Development Board, Minister for Agriculture Production, Ghulam Nabi Lone shall be Chairman of Ganderbal District Development Board, Minister for Health and Medical Education, Bali Bhagat, shall be Chairman of Kishtwar District Development Board, Minister for Rural Development & Panchayati, Abdul Haq Khan shall be Chairman of Baramulla and Kulgam District Development Boards, Minister for Forest, Ecology and Environment, Lal Singh shall be Chairman of Udhampur District Development Board, Minister for Revenue, Relief & Rehabilitation, Syed Basharat Ahmed Bukhari shall be Chairman of Poonch District Development Board, Minister for Social Welfare, ARI & Trainings, Sajad Gani Lone shall be Chairman of Doda District Development Board, Minister for Finance, Culture and Labour & Employment, Dr Haseeb A Drabu shall be Chairman of AnantnagDistrict Development Board, Minister for Cooperatives, Chering Dorjay shall be Chairman of Reasi District Development Board, Minister for Consumer Affairs & Public Distribution, Chowdhary Zulfikar Ali shall be Chairman of Kupwara District Development Board, Minister for PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control, Sham Lal Choudhary shall be Chairman of Kathua District Development Board, Minister for Education, Naeem Akther shall be Chairman of Rajouri District Development Board, Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries, Abdul Gani Kohli shall be Chairman of Ramban District Development Board and Minister for Information Technology, Technical Education and Youth Services & Sports, Imran Raza Ansari shall be Chairman of Bandipora District Development Board.
