At least 30 people were killed in flash floods in Afghanistan overnight, officials said on Monday.Rainstorms and flash floods killed 12 people and washed away several houses in Burka district of Baghlan province. Flash floods also killed six people in neighbouring Samangan province, Xinhua quoted an official of the Natural Disaster Management Authority as saying.At least 12 more people lost their lives in Bangi and neighbouring villages in Taluqan districts of northern Takhar province on Sunday night, official Abdul Razaq Zinda said.Heavy rain and floods killed 23 more people in the western Badghis province on Saturday night.
