Union Minister for Food Processing, Government of India, Harsimrat Kaur Badal today said that the white cap bearers are more dangerous than the pest white fly. She said that while the pest white fly damaged cotton crop, but these white cap bearers will devour the entire Punjab. The Union Minister conducted sangat darshan in various villages of Mansa district today. She said that Arvind Kejriwal, who has been changing his statement over water issues, is not the water saviour of Punjab. She said that the Chief Minister Mr Parkash is the real water Messiah of state who took the historical decision of not sparing even a drop of water to other states.Answering media persons, the Union Minister for Food Processing Mrs Harsimrat Kaur Badal said that the Shiromani Akali Dal has declared the name of its Chief Minister, while Congress and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is still to make the names of its CM candidates public as these parties know that once they make the CM candidates' names public, their parties will get devastated. She said that both the parties were limited till vote politics.
Earlier, the Union Minister visited grain markets of various villages and talked to farmers about the problems they were facing. She directed the authorities to ensure that the farmers do not face any problem.The Union Minister today conducted sangat darshan at village Kulheri including Village Ahmedpur and Gurne Khurd, at village Borawal including village Gunre Kalan and Hasanpur, at village Beeroke Kalan including Chak Bhaika and Dodra, at village Heero Khurd including Gurdi and Khiva Meehan Singh Wala and at village Kanakwal Chahlan including villages Bhadra and Alampur Bodla. Here she listened to the problems of villagers and distributed around Rs 2 cr grant for various developmental works.Area MLA Mr Chatin Singh Samao, chairman Punseed Punjab Mr Sukhwinder Singh Aulakh, Deputy Commissioner Mr Varinder Kumar Sharma, SSP Mr Mukhwinder Singh Bhullar, OSD to deputy CM Mr Mohnish Kumar, ADC (D) Mr Harinder Singh Sra and others were also present.
