Reddy chairs meeting, sanctions 23 welfare cases of Home-guard personnel

Commandant General, J&K Home-guards/Civil Defense & SDRF, S. Gopal Reddy chaired a meeting of officers of Home-guards Organization here today to finalize welfare loan and relief cases of the personnel at the Zonal Level.During the meeting 29 cases were discussed, out of which 15 cases for welfare loan, 8 cases for welfare relief were approved and 3 cases were referred to Police Headquarters for sanction.Addressing the meeting, the Commandant General stressed that holding of welfare meetings shall be a periodic phenomenon for mitigating the welfare related issues of the subordinates.The meeting was attended by Incharge DIG HG/CD & SDRF Jammu, T. D. Saini, SSP, Vikas Gupta, Commandant SDRF Jammu, Stanzin Narboo and other members of welfare committee.
