Animal Husbandry Department today organized a daylong seminar on ‘Changing Scenario in Dairy and Poultry Industry in Ramban’ under Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA).Medical Superintendent Dr Saifu-Din Khan, Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr Iqbal Bhat, Agriculture Extension Officer, Farooq Ahmed Bhat and Lecturer Sushma Sharma, Senior Journalist Rehamtullah Runyal, representatives of various banks besides Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Dr Romesh Razdan were the resource persons for the seminar. Huge gathering from across the district including PRI’s and a large number of farmers attended the programme.Officers of various departments highlighted the schemes and achievements of their respective departments. They also informed the farmers that ATMA is a registered society at the district level which works with different agriculture related departments for sustainable agriculture development.
