The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Friday described the Congress as the "most communal party" in India."The party that burnt alive 10,000 Sikhs ... and which worked with the Muslim League that pided India is calling us communal and pisive," party spokesman Prakash Javadekar said."The Congress is the most communal party in India," he said.Javadekar's remarks came after Congress president Sonia Gandhi earlier in the day attacked the BJP's "pisive" ideology and said this posed the "biggest threat" for the country.The BJP leader said: "They are trying to create an atmosphere of fear in the minority communities but they will not succeed."The BJP also responded to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's statement that the opposition was making promises which cannot be fulfilled."We have not yet made any promise. Our only promise is to provide good governance, which we will," said Javadekar.
