Kashmir condemns Lahore terrorist attack:JKLF stages protest

Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Monday condemned the suicide bombing in Lahore, saying the massacre is against humanity and the world should intervene to stop such acts.Scores of Front activists led by Advocate Bashir Ahmad Bhat staged apeaceful protest at Press Enclave Srinagar and condemned the terror strike against unarmed civilians, including women and children, in Lahore on Sunday."We condemn massacre of innocent people," said the banners carried by the protesters."The terror attack is against humanity and against all religions in the world. The world community should not watch such events as mute spectators. Every human being and nation must join hands to condemn and stop such attacks," Bhat told reporters.The protestors later dispersed peacefully. At least 72 people were killed and over 200 injured when terrorists carried out a bomb attack in a park in Lahore on Sunday. while condemning Lahore terrorist attack, expressed deepest sympathies to the people of Pakistan.Chairman Democratic Liberation Party Hashim Qureshi alleged that it is Pakistani Military establishment that has been killing ‘bad’ terrorists in Wazirstan and keeping ‘good’ terrorists alive in other parts of country terming  them as ‘assets’. “Pakistan should stand up and eliminate all the terrorists from the soil. A Terrorist is the manifestation of a wild boar which for survival consumes knowledge, beauty, progress, norms and values and thereby aims to halt the natural evolution of mankind,” Qureshi in a statement to CNS said.Anjuman Shari Shian Chairman president Aga Syed Hasan Almosvi Alsafvi also condemned the barbaric Lahore attack. He said that Islam does not permit the killing of innocent people and those involved in the attack must be given stringent punishment. He expressed sympathies with the affect families and said that the terrorist attack has left people of Kashmir wounded.International Forum for Justice head Muhammad Ahsan Untoo also condemned that Lahore attack. He urged upon the government of Pakistan to take all steps to eliminate terrorists there. “It was a gruesome attack, those involved in the attack can’t be Muslims,” he said.

National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Working President Omar Abdullah also condemned the suicide bombing of a children’s park in Lahore and termed the incident dastardly and heart rending. Expressing profound grief and sorrow over the loss of lives, Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah prayed for peace to the departed souls and expressed their solidarity with their families. They also prayed for the complete and fast recovery of those who are injured.“This is another senseless act of barbarism that underlines the need to unite against the common enemies of peace and humanity. My heart goes out to the affected people and I pray the situation improves and incidents like these are never repeated”, Dr. Farooq Abdullah said in his message.NC Working President Omar Abdullah said the loss of innocent lives in Lahore is a reminder of the challenges faced by innocent people across the world in fighting against barbarism and violence. “I pray for those who have been affected and express my heartfelt solidarity with them”, Omar Abdullah said in his message.National Conference General Secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar, Additional General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal and Provincial Presidents Nasir Aslam Wani and Devender Singh Rana have also condemned the blast in Lahore and extended their condolences to the victims’ families.  (CNS)
