Chief Minister  today said the Inspectorate ofeducation, a separate wing would be constituted for inspection in theState to ensure that all schools teach Mathematics, English and Hindi from the first class and it would also conduct sudden inspections in school to ensure that the teachers were not absenting themselves,He was addressing a public meeting at Baddi in Solan district. He said education was most important for development of society and it was being insured that better and qualitative education was provided to the students. He stressed that teachers should understand their responsibilities and provide qualitative education to the students with full motivation and dedication.The Chief Minister said a proposal had come from certain sections on grading system in schools and he personally was against it and the decision had been taken to start Hindi, Math and English from the first class as mandatory subjects in the State.He said that that we may differ with the opposition on moral values and ideologies  but not on development issues and said that it was the congress which assures equal development of all sections of the society.

Virbhadra Singh said Himachal Pradesh had progressed in leaps and bounds since independence and warned those, who were trying to playdivisive politics. He reiterated his statement that former Chief Minister Shanta Kumar was a man of principle as opposite to Prem Kumar Dhumal.  He said that the Dhumals failed to dethrone him and with help of a central BJP leader, they have stooped so low that they were trying their hands on him through central intelligence agencies. “Theywere pressuring central intelligence agencies to probe the assets of my family members  and trying to defame me”, he said.He said that as far as the development was concerned in Baddi-Barotiwala, works amounting to Rs.45 crore were in progress, besides grant-in-aid to the tune of Rs.25 crore had been provided by the State government and in addition to this a sum of Rs. 20 crore would be spent from Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh Development Authority,(BBNDA) for financial year 2016-17.

The Chief Minister said all kinds of change of land use and planning permission cases had been started online for quick disposal of general public cases. He said that a modern Baddi Trade centre had been started for the use of perspective entrepreneurs for National and International level dialogues and the ‘Sun City’ road was being developed as a model road having provision of street lights, parks,parkings etc. He said that construction work of indoor stadium at Baddi on ‘Suncity’ road would be started very soon by BBNDA.Shri Virbhadra Singh announced pp-gradation of Primary Health Centre, Chandi to Community Health Centre and Primary Health Centre ( PHC) at Baba Haripur. He nnounced PWD rest house at Haripur Sandholi,up-gradation of Primary school, Kishanpura and  PS  Dhela,up-gradation of Middle School Bhagudi, Sheraan, Daanvata and Bhatolikalan  to High Schools and up-gradation of High School Chanalmajra and Durgapur Dhardi to Government Senior secondary school. He also announced opening of employment exchange at Baddi and branch of Jogindra Co-operative bank at Nalka in GP Nalka besides construction of indoor stadium at Baddi. Industries Minister Shri Mukesh Agnihotri while speaking on the occasion said that the congress believes in overall and equal development. He targeted the BJP of playing cheap politics to defame Shri Virbhadra Singh and his family but they would not succeed in  their motives. He said that it was very unfortunate that on the day of the marriage of Virbhadra’s daughter, the NDA got conducted the CBI raids on his residence and on the occasion of Holi the Enforcement Directorate(ED) under pressure from their political bosses got attached the property of His family members  in New Delhi which he termed as the cheapest of move of the Central leaders of BJP.He said the present Congress government would complete full five years term and would also get the budget passed on 31st March. Shri Agnihotri said it was a historic decision taken in the budget to provide assistance to general BPL families for construction of their houses. 

Social Justice and Empowerment Minister, Col Dr. Dhani Ram Shandil also spoke on the occasion.MLA Shri Ram Kumar said that the BJP failed to usher development in Doon constituency and it was the congress party under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Shri Virbhadra Singh that Doon constituency witnessed a ray of development. He also listed the developments of the area. President Municipal Committee Baddi, , Madan Chaudhary thanked the Chief Minister for dedicating projects worth ? 97 crore in a single day and also listed other developments of the area. Ex-MLA, Lakhvinder Rana, Chairman, Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Hardeep Bawa,  Chairman, Zila Parishad, Dharampal Chauhan, DCC .President, Rahul Thakur, General Secretary, HPCC, Vinod Sultanpuri, President, State Congress Sewa Dal, Anurag Sharma, Vice-Chairman, Small Saving, Prakash Karad, Member, BoD, HPTDC, Surinder Sethi, Member, BoD, Pollution Control Board, Arvind Gupta, Deputy Commissioner, Rakesh Kanwar were also present on the occasion amongst others.
