DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range, Surinder Gupta today convened a meeting of police officers to review the arrangements regarding smooth conduct of written examinations for the post of Constable, to be conducted by Police Recruitment Board on March 20 at various centres in the Udhampur District.DIG asked all the officers to assist the PRB to ensure fair and transparent conduct of examinations. He asked the centre superintends to inspect the venues prior to the exams to make sure that proper illumination and sufficient seating is available for the candidates. He also asked the officials to video record the written test at regular intervals to ensure the process is carried out in a fair and transparent manner. He informed that transparency would be maintained during the complete recruitment process.He added that no mobile phone/electronic gadget/smart watches would be allowed in the examination hall and no candidate would be granted admittance in the examination hall after 12 O Clock. He also appealed to the candidates to be away from touts for recruitment.Earlier, SSP Udhampur Suleiman Choudhary explained in detail about the various sequence of events to be carried out by centre superintends, hall supervisors, invigilators etc for the smooth conduct of exam.
