A counseling session was held at Ashmah International School, Sector 70 for relieving the exam stress for the students. Students were counselled to remain stress free and improve their earlier performance by adopting stress busters technique like Walking, running or exercising Listening music, ,meditation ,Proper sleep, Eating healthy food, Time management and accurate study material etc. .Students were also motivated to understand the things rather than cramming.While speaking at the moment Principal Amarpreet Kaur said that children, who experience stress may be irritable, not sleeping well, lose interest in food, worry a lot, appear depressed or negative. Headaches and stomach pains can also be stress-related. She later told simple tips like prioritise your workload ,be organised and plan a timetable, find a quiet & well lit and comfortable place to study, take regular breaks & avoid junk food to de-stress.Director of the School J.S.Kesar while motivating the students said that Everyone experiences stress, especially during exams, but how we respond to it can have a positive or negative effect. Some stress can be good because it motivates us to overcome challenges but too much stress takes a negative toll on us so he urged students to remain positive minded during the exam.
