The District Information Office, Kulgam today, organized a Mehfil-e-Mushiara at Kulgam in which renowned poets of District Kulgam presented their couplets and enthralled the audience.Deputy Commissioner Kulgam Mr. Syed Abid Rashid was the Chief Guest on the occasion.The DDC while expressing his views on this occasion said that District administration will always be ready to provide any kind of support for such functions as it really depicts the reflections of society.The renowned poets who presented their latest poetry included Ayub Sabir, Yousf Dilbar, Yousf Gulshan, Shahnaz Bashir, Qutib-ud-din, Mohmmad Yousf Ganie, Tanha Aishmuji, Shakeel Ahmad and Jehangir Ahmad Jehangir.The District Information Officer, Shakoor Ahmad in his address said that the aim of organizing such kind of programmes is to provide a platform for young and budding poets of the district so that they can showcase their talent.
