Universal Group of Institutions celebrated International Women’s Day at its campus. International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.Students participated in various events like Paper reading, Theater Act, Singing, Poster making which reflects the various acts of courage and determination by women in all fields of life by showing women empowerment and compulsion of girl education in today’s world. Students were encouraged by awarding certificates of the events by Chairman, Universal Group, Dr Gurpreet Singh.Chairman,Dr Gurpreet Singh said that the objective of celebrating International Women’s Day was to celebrate women’s history, highlighting key events, milestones and achievements, and aims to further promote and raise awareness of women’s rights and to achieve equal opportunity status in all walks of life.
