The upcoming north region’s biggest sports entertainment show and Punjab’s first ever unisex celebrity cricket show Box Cricket League-Punjab is all set to entertain you. On Tuesday, the team Royal Patialvi was launched by none other than Bollywood actor Ameesha Patel who is the owner of the team. Famous singer Preet Harpal and actor Jimmy Sharma who will be playing for Royal Patialvi were also present at the launch.Ameesha Patel is quite excited with this new initiative and ready to give her best shot to the game. She said, “It is going to be great fun. The spirit and the format of the game come with a social message of gender equality and that’s what attracts me to this league. 

Also I am a non-Punjabi but I am ready to dive into the Punjabi colors so that I can lead my team well. I have been learning to speak Punjabi since quite a few days now. The hospitality of Punjab has always been inviting me and I look forward to it.”Preet Harpal, Sharry Mann and Jimmy Sharma said that their team has already been practicing for the last two months and spirits are really high. Owner of the league, Sumit Dutt elaborates, " BCL-Punjab is a platform for the global Punjabis. Our aim is to bring together big names of the industry on one platform and make a thrilling show that will enthrall audiences.”Of the five teams in the league, BCL-Punjab recently launched Jalandhar Panthers, Ambarsariye Hawks and Ludhianvi Tigers teams. The last team Chandigarhiye Yankies is yet to be launched.
