Zulfkar for clearing bottlenecks in developmental works

Pressing upon revenue authorities to clear all land acquisition cases of the developmental works in Darhal constituency, Member Legislative Assembly and Former Minister Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali held joint meeting of Revenue, Public Works Department, PMGSY and Forest department to access the pace of work in the constituency.In the meeting, directions were passed on to Revenue officials to complete the process of land acquisition of all developmental works including Roads of PWD, PMGSY and prestigious projects of ITI College Kotranka, Gujjar and Bakerwal Hostel Nehra, Amusement Park Kotranka, Sports Stadium & Eco Tourism Park Kotranka. MLA directed the officials to acquire the land in time bound manner so that work is initiated on these projects. Revenue officials have been given one week time to complete process in the same to initiate next step.In the meeting, details of the PMGSY Roads in Darhal Constituency was sought and discussion made on Physical and Financial achievement of each work and the progress achieved during the past three months. PMGSY engineers projected funds for opening of Kandi Gali Kanthol Road, Draj-Salhad Road, Jeeri-Peerah-Khawas Road, Sokar Road and Chambi Trar Road. MLA assured that he will talk to higher ups for release of funds in this regard. 

He was apprised by the Engineers that total sanctioned cost of projects in the constituency was Rs 225.28 crore among which they have spend Rs 150.14 till januray ending of 2016. They said that a total of 49 packages with 7 bridges were taken up in various stages in the constituency. Expressing dissatisfaction over non completion of R&B Roads, Zulfkar passed on instructions to award the work of Palangar to Badoon Road within 7 days. He also expressed dissatisfaction of the work on Choudhary Nar and Chowkian Road and instructed the department to improve work on these roads.He also reviewed work on Marasi Morh to Bagyalkote, Kewal Morh Road, Rajouri Darhal Road, Bagh to Chhiti Bhati Road via Jabbar, Khoriwali to Budh Kani Road, Darhali Bridge Chatyar Road, Kotdhara to Kurhad,  Hubbi Bagyalkote Road, Main Roafd to GPS Mohra Jaglanoo, Budhal Gali Nanga Thub Road and improvement of Kotranka Khawas Road. He also accessed work on schoo, buildings of MS Kurhad, MS Kanthol, Ms Dhandote, MS Sadda, MS Sakeri and MS Chowkian besides construction of 4 ACRs at HS HS Gabbar, construction of PHC at Khawas, MAC Building at Chakpatli, Allopathetic dispensary Samote, Veterinary Dispensary Building Malhut and Kotranka and Community Hall at Darhal.  

Expressing desire to construct all PMGSY and PWD roads in Darhal constituency in estimated time, Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali impressed upon PMGSY engineers to speed up the work and remove bottlenecks if any. He instructed the department to go by alignment of roads. He also appealed local public to cooperate the department in completing PMGSY roads and do not make hurdles in the alignments.Meanwhile MLA also accessed Forest Clearance cases and sought details and reasons for pendency. He was apprised about details of the works executed during past three years and the plan of 2015-16 under all heads with the physical and financial achievement of each work. Forest officials apprised that there are pendency of three cases on Marasi Bagyalkote Road, Kewal Targian Road and Khawas Road on which MLA directed concerned officials to hold joint verification within week and sort out all the bottlenecks. The officers who were present in the meeting included Superintending Engineer, PMGSY, Rajouri Poonch, Superintending Engineer, Public Works (R&B) Rajouri Poonch, Assistant Commissioner  Revenue Rajouri, Divisional Forest Officer Rajouri, Executive Engineer–PMGSY Rajouri & Budhal Tehsildar, Darhal, Khawas and Koteranka.
