A large number of National Panthers Party (NPP) activists led by Swarn Singh Chib (Vice President of Rajput Sabha) today left their party and joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in a function held at Sumb in Samba, amid presence of MLC Yashpal Sharma, who is party’s candidate for Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha seat, State Secretary Ch Hussain Ali Wafa, R S Jamwal, Young leader Sunny Sangral, Samba district president Pawan Dev Singh and others.Sharma while welcoming the new entrants in party fold, lambasted State Government for its failure to solve day today problems of the common masses, and held it responsible for the miseries of people which have been increased manifold after formation of National Conference led regime in the State.
The function was organized by the district unit of PDP. Sharma also criticized the local MLA Yash Pal Kundal for his failure to rake the issues of his constituency and sought change of guard in the upcoming elections. He said that during the last five years this regime has done nothing to solve problems of the people. “What to say to mitigating woes of the masses, this regime has further compounded miseries of the people due to its wrong policies”, he pointed out and added this regime has proved total failure in its five years tenure.Seeking support of masses in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Sharma assured of raking up all their issues relentlessly at concerned levels. He also assured people of constructing all weather motorable road in the entire Samba district.
On the occasion, he announced 100 KVA Transformer for village Julapar out of his Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
Also addressing, Sunny Sangral lambasted MLA Yash Pal Kundal for turning blind eyes towards the miseries of the people of his constituency. He alleged that Kundal was promoting corruption in the developmental activities owing to which all the works were at standstill. He urged the people of Samba to whole-heartedly support PDP’s candidate Yash Pal Sharma (also known as ‘Sher-e-Poonch) in the Lok Sabha election. The new entrant Swarn Singh Chib and all his supporters reposed faith in the leadership of PDP Patron Mufti Mohammed Sayeed and vowed to fight against the tyrannical rule of NC lead state government.
