Visiting British Parliamentarian, Mr. Bob Blackman visited Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council Secretariat here today.Mr. Blackman was accompanied by Mr. Surinder Ambardar, Member Legislative Council and Mrs. Laxmi Koul, Founder of Kashmiri Pandit Cultural Society London. Mr Blackman’s 3-day visit to Jammu, is being organized by Mr. Ambardar.
Legislators, Mr. Muzaffar Ahmad Parray, Mr. Sham Lal Bhagat and Mr. Surinder Choudhary besides Secretary Legislative Council Mr. Abdul Majid and other senior officers of the Council Secretariat were present on the occasion.Secretary Council briefed Mr. Blackman about the activities of the Council Secretariat.While interacting with the Legislators and the staff of the Council Secretariat, Mr. Blackman shared his experiences and briefed them about the functioning of the British Parliament.Later, Mr. Bob visited the House and Central Hall of Legislature Complex. He was impressed by the old and rare photographs of famous dignitaries of the Country as well as of Jammu and Kashmir State displayed on the walls of the Hall.
