Ailing chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) who was arrested by police early this morning has been admitted in a hospital as he was suffering from high fever and infection.Killings of our kith and kin cannot be tolerated silently. JKLF will organize a peaceful Sit-in against killing spree on Wednesday, 17th February 2016 at Lal Chowk.JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik who was arrested by police early morning today, was admitted in Florence hospital as he was suffering from a high fever and infection. Yasin sahib got sick during his incarceration at central jail Srinagar last week and his fever is fluctuating from last many days.Despite illness police arrested him early today but as his health was deteriorating police took him to hospital where doctors advised to admit him in the hospital. Doctors are constantly looking after him and he has gone through many medical tests since morning.It is worth to mention that Yasin Malik has been kept in custody as police has also been placed outside and inside his ward at the hospital.

Meanwhile Yasin Malik from his hospital bed has strongly condemned the ongoing killing spree of innocent Kashmiri youth by Indian trigger happy forces and termed it as continuing genocide of Kashmiris.He said that Indians have turned Kashmir into a slaughter house and on daily basis we are receiving the dead bodies of our kith and kin that are falling to the bullets of Indian forces.He said that this unabated killing spree cannot and will not be tolerated silently and Kashmiris will keep protesting against this state terrorism with passion. He said that Immunity from prosecution has turned these trigger free Indian forces into beasts and killing humans has become their hobby.

While criticizing international community’s criminal silence, Yasin Malik said that to safeguard its trade relations with India, international community has shun its human instinct and has kept criminal silence on this killing spree in Kashmir. While expressing condolences to recently martyred daughter Shaista and innocent Danish, Yasin Malik prayed for the patience of bereaved families.Meanwhile a JKLF meeting was held today to take stock of the situation that has aroused after Pulwama innocent killings and incarceration and illness of JKLF chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik. Participants of the meeting held that innocent killings are continuing unabated and Kashmiris cannot tolerate this silently.

It was decided that organized and coordinated protest against this killing spree will continue and JKLF will organize a peaceful protest Sit-in at Lal Chowk on Wednesday 17th February 2016 against Pulwama killings.Participants of the meeting decided that after JKLF chairman’s recovery from illness and release from police custody, JKLF will chalk out an organized and coordinated program against continuing killing spree so that international community’s sleeping conscience is awoken and Kashmiri youth are safeguarded from oppressive attitude and behavior of India and its forces.JKLF has paid rich tributes to its martyr Jalil Ahmad shah and other Haigam Sopore martyrs on their martyrdom day.JKLF district president Bandipora along with other leaders Molvi Reyaz, Ghulam Qadir khan and Abdul Qayoom participated in a condolence meeting held for these martyrs and paid rich tributes to the.Also JKLF district president Gaderbal Bashir Ahmad Rather (Boya) has been arrested by police in a nocturnal raid and also the residence of JKLF zonal organizer Bashir Kashmiri has been raided. JKLF strongly condemns these police atrocities. (KNS)
