A meeting of District Consultative Committee/District Level Review Committee (DCC/DLRC) of district as today held under the Chairmanship of District Development Commissioner Srinagar Dr. Farooq Ahmad Lone to review the progress achieved under ACP 2015-16.The meeting was attended by Mr. Anil Kumar Reshi (LDO RBI) and Mr. Junaid Hakim Matoo (NABARD) besides representatives of various financial institutions and sponsoring agencies operating in District Srinagar.Dr. Lone stressed on enhancement in the overall credit flow of Banks in the District providing much needed financial impetus to improve income levels and thereby raising standard of living of the society.
He also advised the representatives of financial institutions and sponsoring agencies to come forward for eradicating menace of unemployment and reaching out with banking and financial services to the poorest of poor. He further emphasized that all Banks operating in the District should organize financial literacy camps particularly in the rural and semi urban belts of District Srinagar to educate and aware masses about various Banking products and Govt. Sponsored schemes. Besides he impressed upon the Banks operating in District Srinagar to improve their CD Ratio.
