The Punjab Government disbursed Rs.11.03 crore to 787 beneficiaries under various employment schemes of BACKFINCO (Punjab Backward classes land development and finance corporation) whereas target of Rs.18 crore is set to disbursed till March 31,2016 to economically weaker section to help them set-up their own small scale enterprises said that Minister Welfare Gulzar Singh Ranike.He said that the BACKFINCO was established in 1976 to up-lift economically weaker section of the society and the grant is disbursed at minimal 6 percent of interest rate. He said that candidate between age group of 18 to 55 years with annual income of Rs.81,000 in rural area and Rs. 10,3000 in urban area, is eligible for getting the finance assistance under these schemes. He further said ensure that all the programmes of the Punjab Backward classes land development and finance corporation are implemented at grass root level with specialised focus on rural areas.
