The State Government is in the process of formulating “J&K State Road Safety Policy” to be implemented throughout Jammu and Kashmir. Before finalizing the Road Safety Policy, the Transport Department is seeking views/comments/suggestions regarding the said policy from the stakeholders and general public.The detailed Draft Road Safety Policy is available at Transport Department’s websitewww.jktransport.nic.in for the perusal of the stakeholders and the public.The Transport Department has urged the stakeholders in particular and public in general to send their views/ comments / suggestions in reference to the Draft Road Safety Policy by or before 29-02-2016 to the Secretary to Government, Transport Department, Room No. 3/24, Mini Block, Civil Secretariat, Jammu or email the same at: [email protected] .
