For promotion of Holy cave of Shri Shiv Khori Shrine, a meeting of Publicity-cum-Media cell of Shri Shiv Khori Shrine Board was convened under the Chairmanship of Executive Officer, SSKSB, Mr Mahesh Sharma.In the meeting, various points regarding publicity/promotion of the Shrine including publicity through electronic & print media was discussed in detail. It was discussed that information brochures, displaying of hoardings, flex boards etc are being installed at various locations at Jammu, Katra & other prime locations. It was informed that SMVDSB Katra has also been requested to provide some space for installation hoardings of SSKSB depicting various vital information of Shiv khori including road distance, contact numbers, e-mail Ids, website of SSKSB (www.shivkhori.in) & history of the Shrine etc.
The pilgrimage has broken previous three years record as yatra touches 1,09,320 figures during the month of January this year & is expected to cross 20 lac mark this year, Executive officer SSKSB said during the meeting.Meeting was attended by Distt. Informatics Officer (NIC) Reasi Ashish Kumar Dogra, Distt. Information Officer Reasi Dr Ashwani Hansa, Accounts Officer SSKSB & other members of the Publicity cell.
